The Porter In-Line Vacuum Control connects to the vacuum hose and allows for visual monitoring of vacuum flow. NIOSH guidelines suggest 45 lpm of vacuum for safe scavenging. Featuring and on/off switch and a visual indicator gauge with ball float this device is simple to operate – yet critical for ensuring scavenging safety and efficiency. 

Vacuum rates that are set too high will pull nitrous oxide away from the patient faster than they can breathe it in. Vacuum rates that are set too low may result in excess nitrous oxide exposure for both the Dr. and staff.
